Instituto Confucio de Madrid is on Calle Goya in the Salamanca district, hosted on the IES Beatriz Galindo campus and run jointly by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Shanghai International Studies University. The branch offers Mandarin courses, HSK and HSKK testing, teacher-training programmes and a regular schedule of Chinese-culture events for the Madrid community.
